A Warm Winter Scarf, Just in Time for Summer

While knitting is still a very popular hobby, during the early to mid 20th Century it was often more than that as knitters turned repeated to the craft to make durable and warm items of clothing for their families and soldiers on the battle fields of two world wars.

I’m still very much a novice knitter but I’ve really enjoyed spending more time on this lovely and relaxing craft during this time of social distancing due to COVID 19.  I recently finished this lovely red wool scarf for my beloved husband, Mr. Von Tassel.  I’m a little embarrassed to say how long ago I started it but what matters is that it is finished now and will keep him wonderfully warm during the coming winter months.
