While I completely failed at getting any good pictures, this past weekend Ms. Adventure and I enjoyed a lovely day trip to Kure Beach, NC and the Fort Fisher NC State Recreational Area. It was a lovely day, lots of sun and a wonderful breeze. The water was warm and I enjoyed lots of time reading my book, snacking on a delicious picnic, and chatting about life. We also left just in time, about half and hour before a summer rain shower showed up to cool the day off.
Can’t wait to go back!
