Last Sunday afternoon, my totally awesome brother-in-law, The Mechanic, came to the house and taught me how to change pads on drum breaks. It was awesome! I’m sure I was (and still am) far more excited about it than any normal person should be but it was epic! (Don’t judge me!) We changed my rear break pads and cleaned everything out. I also fixed my sticky passenger door and glove box (all by myself I might add :D).
In late September/Early October we are going to be converting the front brakes to disk. I’m pretty excited. I’ll definitely be keeping all my original parts, but it will be nice to be able to stop more quickly. Lol! It’s kind of a big conversion but the budgeting has started and I’m looking forward to accomplishing it.
