I love vintage and retro fashion. I never fail to feel gorgeous and happy when wearing it. While much of my work and event (cocktail party, etc) wardrobe is made up of modern retro style pieces, much of them from companies like Trashy Diva and What Katie Did, I’ve decided that I really want to transition pretty much fully to a retro 1940s/1950s style wardrobe with the casual weekend pieces having more of a rockabilly style influence.
The below list is based on a recommended woman’s wardrobe for 1947 (with some numbers increased for present day). I will be making updates and sharing pictures as I assemble my wardrobe.
