(Socially Distanced) Trip to Williamsburg, Va

The first weekend of December we joined a group of our friends and headed up to Williamsburg, Va for their traditional holiday illumination and some historical fun.  While our friends dressed in historically appropriate attire for our adventures through the historic town, I wore an adorable embroidered motorcycle jacket and matching Princess face mask. 🙂

Hopefully our 1790’s clothing will be done in time for our next trip but we had tons of fun visiting the Governor’s Palace and gardens, where Mr. Von Tassel took tons of pictures.

That evening we enjoyed a truly delicious holiday dinner at one of the local taverns (courtesy of heated outdoor seating) and wandered the streets enjoying the scented bond fires in braziers.  It was a truly lovely trip.
